8GB of RAM is fantastic!  It's made it so that I no longer dread having to work on my 32-bit Virtual PC Version of Vista for all of my old apps that think Vistax64 isn't really windows.

I suppose it had to be done.  There are certain people that I know that I follow on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, etc. that I've decided to drop.  Not that I don't like those people.  I do like some of them very much, but the problem is that they update too frequently with drivel.  It's all garbage.  I don't care if you just added Gumby: The True Hollywood Story to your Netflix. 

The other annoying folks are people who share way too many stupid applications on Facebook.  Really? Has social networking become the sharing of lame ass  "X bit you and now you're a vampire" apps?  Seriously, Facebook has a kick ass API  why waste it on "Who wants to be a superhero" and "you have syphilis too?".  I love being able to share my real personality and news with my friends.  I get to give them a taste of my musical likes and dislikes.  They can see my most recent photos.  Those are the real magic behind social networking.  Stop it with the lame apps and "sending X a bloody mary."

Anyway, the real story here is that I've had to delete some friends from facebook and twitter because I'm tired of the nonsense.
