Ladies and Gentlmen,

I welcome you to my new web log.  (Not that I had a web log before this one.) This web log will soon be followed by a podcast.   I am hoping to record that podcast this weekend.  This entry will let you know a little about me and a little about my set up.  I am posting early so that I can hopefully get some comments with some helpful hints on starting my podcast.

First: About Me!

I am a 26 year old IT manager at a small insurance company.  I have a wife and a kid. My education had nothing to do with computers, I was a theatre major. Go figure.

Second: Why the Blog and Podcast?

I really need a place to express myself.  The blog alone would be great but I really don't like writing all that much.  So I will use the web log for small posts and then I will have a weekly podcast for the major stuff.  I also plan on putting together a weekly audio drama.  I am currently corresponding with some of my theatre friends to put together some stuff.  I'm hoping that the audio dramas will be mostly comic, but there may be some more serious stuff.  There is one script that I am trying to obtain right now that I think will make you laugh hysterically.

I also wanted a place to let my friends see what I've been up to.  Which, lately, has been listening to every podcast I can get my hands on.

Third: My Set Up

I was going to talk about my set up in this entry but I can't. I've got some stuff I have to do so I'll try put this part up tonight.  Maybe with a sample podcast just to see if it will work.
