Yep. This is where I spent the weekend.  It was cold. Very cold.  Very, very cold.

What was I doin in Chicago during the winter? Good question.  I took the wife for Valentines day.  We were going to see the new Hershey Felder show that was supposed to open at the Royal George Theatre.  We were so looking forward to Beethoven that we decided to brave the cold and make the trip north.  Bought our plane tickets, payed for the hotel. (Both nonrefundable as we got the cheap stuff.)  Then... The show is cancelled.  Damn.

What did we do in Chicago?  We walked past Millenium Park.  We toured the Art Institute Museum for hours.  We had Chicago pizza. (Thick and thin crust.)  We visited the Hancock building.  (Next time, I gotta do the sears tower.  "I think I see my dad.")  We saw a show at the Steppenwolf Theatre.  Harold Pinter's Betrayal was awesome.

Will I go back to Chicago?  Hell yes.  Oh, wait. What's that?  A little birdy told me that I already have reserved a trip to go back.
