I think Adam and Dave should be a major focus of the Wikipedia entry. Podcasting, as it exists today wouldn't exist with out these central figures. For those of us that have been listening since the beginning we know. He's been there since the beginning. DSC was the first podcast I ever heard. Adam is the Alpha of podcasting. That's the way it is. Sure there were audio blogs and crap. Were they podcasting? There's an argument to be made for that yes. But there's a difference between audio blogs and the shows we have today.
I look forward to the future of podcasting. And I see Adam Curry at the front of the line with his Podshow crew. Can't people stop being so confrontational? This is friggin ridiculous.
PS I think that the charges made against AC are over inflated. I also think that this is the kind of irresponsible writing that keeps me from taking anything seriously on Digg.
