Sometimes cheezy pop tunes aren't that aweful
I hear all sorts of cheezy pop songs when I'm at home. The other day I heard something familiar and it's been stuck in my head ever since. Disney is pretty good about releasing music for kids and remaking old classics. On this year's Disneymania 4 there's a remake of the song "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" by "Disney Channel Stars" that's pretty good.
I know it's not destined to be a classic, but it's definitely a great version of that song in that it gives it new life for kids. I believe that the original did not have much appeal to children as it's too slow. I think most kids love fast music that's fun to sing with. This song is definitely goodd for that.
Let me add this disclaimer. I personally don't like the song all that much. It's a bit too "kid pop" for me, but It's perfect for my kid and other kids.
