Wowsa. So I finally got my TCP/IP issue resolved
So if I had paid closer attention in TCP/IP addressing school I would have known that everything was A-Okay.
Part of the problem is that I've always connected into a router that was managed by the ISP. This time I had to configure the router that connected into the gateway. It was all so confusing.
